Ladies Man

Remember Salty the Snail???  Well apparently he is quite the ladies man snail.  His brood has taken over my flower garden.  Sadly, the vegetation cannot support his growing family.

I know what you're thinking... and table salt is out of the question!

Thanks to Beads of Courage program, the adorable baby snails will be heading to Tucson.
No worries, I will put air holes in the shipping container.

Bitten

Here are a few pictures from this last week.  I held off posting them for a few days, it just felt a bit braggy posting such lovely pictures of the local flowers when the rest of the country was experiencing snow storms and freezing temperatures.  Don't worry, I received my payback for the lovely weather on Friday when I was bitten by some angry fire ants, who's hill I unknowingly disturbed.  The swelling in my hands and toes has started to ease.  Amazing how something smaller than a grain of rice can inflict such pain.  Good news, the yard work is done so I'm back in bead mode.  Some new beads will be on Etsy tomorrow.  Enjoy!

Stillness

A view of my garden, and a moment to be translated into glass:
I hope you find inspiration in the stillness of life.
