Furlock Holmes & Dr. Hopson

The game is afoot my friends!  Furlock takes solving mysteries very seriously.  For example, he didn't rest until the case involving disappearing parsley was solved and the villainous perpetrator was brought to justice.  He feels it is his business to know what other guinea pigs do not know.  He often reminds his trusty companion, Dr. Hopson, there is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact.  Furlock, a fluffy lie-detector, understands a detective must eliminate all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbably must be the truth.

When experiencing difficulty getting into the glass-melting groove, it helps me to take a step back and create special Beads of Courage "dream beads".  I feel my hands are blessed with a greater measure of skill.  #beadsofcourage #beadstrong

Late

The Mesa Arts Center Season Kickoff focused on literary themes.  I attempted to demonstrate sculptural work inspired by Alice in Wonderland.  It was a fun night filled with talented friends who love art and our community.

County Fair

Howdy folks!  The leaves are fixin to turn, ya'll know what that means?  Yep, the county fair is just around the corner.  Time to rejoice in the bounty of Fall Harvest and fried food!  Yippee ki yay and giddy up!  Ya'll excited?  I'm a talkin fried pickles, fried Twinkies, fried fritters, fried ice cream...  if it fits in the deep fat fryer, then game on donky-kong!  Be sure to stop on by Hoppy's veggie stand and take a gander at their heavenly produce.  Lawsie mercy it's fresh!!!

Tea with Hatter

In such a rush to take this photo that I didn't adjust the light properly to accurately pick up Hatter's little red bow tie... Honestly, I was lucky to get this shot before rabbit hopped away chattering something about being late?! It was like working with diva models on a photoshoot... not enough carrots and alfalfa in craft services table... blah blah blah.

How to catch a Bunny

1. Place a carrot in a brightly colored container, then wait.
Make sure you have some snacks... this might take awhile.

2. Once the bunny enters the colorful jar,
place a lid over the opening.  Don't forget the air holes.
