Adventures in Glass Design

Intermediate to Advanced flameworkers will learn how to design and create a variety of projects using tools, presses, and beadrollers.  Students will receive instruction to guide them through the start to finish process of designing whimsical creations.  Along the way, the instructor will share many of her innovative tips and techniques to create on of a kind designs.  Students will be challenged to think "outside of the box" when it comes to incorporating tools in the flamework process.  Students will also learn additional techniques including applying detail through enamels, fine stringer work, color masking, and how to easily remedy mistakes.  The workshop will also focus on identifying artistic passion, finding design inspiration in everyday life, and transforming design concepts into reality through the medium of glass.

Students will learn techniques to advanced glass design including color shading, overlay, sculpture, science behind flow, fine stringer work, and addressing issue which arise during the creative process.
